I had the privilege of taking the CWP course from Richard Spangler. Richard's background as a SC Constable along with his knowledge of firearms contributed greatly to his teaching of the course. He could relate to real-life situations when the use of a firearm would be advisable and more importantly when NOT to use a firearm due to incomplete knowledge of the situation. 

Richard is a consummate professional making the course both informative and yet fun at the same time. I highly recommend Richard for your CWP training.

The time at the range was very safety oriented with an instructor for every student. I would highly recommend Richard for anyone seeking a concealed weapons permit.

To say I've been around guns all my life is definitely an understatement. My father was an avid hunter. Both my husband and son enjoy the outdoors and hunting. I've always respected firearms, but I've never truly known too much about them. I wanted to take the class not just for the CWP license, but also to learn more about safety and handling of a handgun. I learned so much in the Spangler CWP Class. I felt much more comfortable with my gun after the class. Richard Spangler is an excellent instructor and he truly cares about the education of his students. I never once felt intimidated. The main thing I learned is that this is not something you do one day, but it something you must practice and continue work at to make yourself more familiar with. I took this class alongside my Dad. It was a great way to spend the day together and learn more about something that he loves so very much. I highly recommend the Spangler CWP class.
